Working with a team of international project specialists, the International Institute of Project Coaching was created in Australasia to serve a global community of project coaches. The aim of the Institute is to create a community of heroes who help and support those involved in projects and who contribute to growing organisations and influencing cultures toward best practice project management. As a community, project coaches need support to advance their own skills and expertise.

The International Institute of Project Coaching was the brain child of its founding chairman - Todd Hutchison, who is also the author of the world’s first book on project coaching and one of the world authorities on project coaching and the inaugural President. He is an awarded project manager, certified Project Management Professional, accredited Master Project Director, certified Master Coach, certified Master Project Coach, and certified NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer. Todd was formerly the National Chairman of the Australian Project Management Institute (PMI) Council and an Australian Chapter President.  He has over 20 years experience in project management and works as a professional project coach, consultant and trainer.

The Institute’s current President, Robert McGannon, is a qualified and well experienced international project manager, coach, and consultant. Robert McGannon is Vice-President of Mindavation, Inc. in the United States and Director of Mindavation Pty Ltd in Australia. He has worked with beginning to advanced program and project personnel from over 15 countries, with a wide variety of industry backgrounds. He specializes in strategic program and portfolio management and has helped set up Project Management Offices on three different continents. He has 25 years of I/T and project management and analysis experience, 18 of those years with the IBM Corporation. His management experience includes technology outsourcing, I/T delivery measurement and quality, business analysis and general project management.

Robert has worked internationally while playing a major role in the development of international trade applications in use in the United States and Europe, and recently worked in Australia on a consulting engagement with Medicare in Canberra. He has managed project teams as large as 460 individuals, once serving as the IT Delivery manager for IBM, supporting American Express.

He holds university degrees in Operations Research and Mathematics.  Robert holds a practitioners certificate in the PRINCE2 project management methodology, and an ITIL foundation certificate.

Project management training is conducted through our affiliate partner – the Australasian College of Leadership and Coaching. Its nationally accredited trainers are professional speakers and practising project managers, that ensures the highest quality of education is delivered through the Institute.

The Australasian College of Leadership and Coaching was established to deliver nationally recognised qualifications in project management as an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) registered through the Australian Training Accreditation Council. Over time this will be extended to include national accredited qualifications in professional coaching.
